‘AT WAR WITH THE GODS’ tells the full story of the first 25 years of The Mission, seminal UK rockers considered by many to be at the vanguard of the UK gothic rock scene, whom MarkGT was guitarist from 1992 until 2001 and from 2005 til 2008. The book launches from the speed-fuelled beginnings of the band in Leeds UK from the splinters of The Sisters of Mercy back 1986, to the tour in 2011 which saw the band reform and tour once again, including a triumphant sold out concert at London’s prestigious Brixton Academy, where once again MGT returned to join the band onstage.

More than 350 pages and over 200 rare and exclusive photographs over 25 years, compiled and written by Alex Danielle.. Includes a chapter on each member of the band, with a comprehensive section covering MGTs musical career and involvement with the Mission over the 5 studio albums and 6 live albums he recorded and appeared on with the band.
