You can now check out the full ‘Bastard Art’ 90min documentary on Andi Sex Gang/Sex Gang Children on YouTube, featuring interview footage with MGT. Originally released on limited edition DVD last year.

ANDI_SEX _GANG1Mark was interviewed for this documentary in 2009, due to his association with both Andi and ex SGC bassist Dave Roberts (MGT played guitar with SGC off-shoot band The Children with Roberts and was also invited to tour the US with Sex Gang in 1990, which he declined due to commitments with Spear of Destiny). SGC formed in England in the early 1980’s, their album Song and Legend was released in 1983 (debuting at #1 in the UK indie charts). The new SGC album ‘Viva Vigilante!‘ features a mix of ‘Death Squad Diva’ by MGT, and a future MGT remix is planned.

The documentary features interviews with Andi and current & former Sex Gang Children members Terry Macleay, Kevin Matthews, Cam Campbell, Adrian Portas, Matthew Saw, Ray Taylor Smith (Raymondo), and Carl Magnusson; author Martin Millar, photographer Kate Schermerhorn, Mark Gemini Thwaite (The Mission, Peter Murphy, Tricky), musician En Esch (KMFDM, Slick Idiot) plus more. Also featured rare video clips. Directed by Vince Corkadel.
